Got the 1/2 price wings with nachos Drinks were good, service was good but the wings were perfection!! Server recommended pineapple curry wings and they were absolutely delicious. Wish I wasn't full and could indulge in another lb of wings
One of the best wings I've had since moving to Durham. The servers were wonderful and the owner was attentive. We went to the Brooklin location. This will be a continuous spot for us. The gentleman that runs the establishment is attentive, appreciative and goes above and beyond for his customer. A simple mention of someone's birthday and he puts a birthday message on the screen. He takes part in every aspect of his business, whether it's working in the kitchen, taking and serving orders or just simply checking in with guests. Phenomenal service, amazing atmosphere, great food and great staff! Highly recommended!!!!!!
We had lamb shank with mashed potatoes, veg, honey garlic and pineapple currey wings ♡ All perfectly cooked with superb flavour and exceptional service! Chef Manoj is an exuisite cook and brought the 5 star flavour to the table! ☆☆☆☆☆
Been coming here quite a bit and every time there is a problem. It’s unfortunate as the food is great but the manager is quite rude and doesn’t own up to anything. He is unprofessional, rude, and blames his staff for every inconvenience. Whether it be the staffs fault due to an issue with a keg or the food taking forever amongst other scenarios. It’s never an I’m sorry for this inconvenience it’s oh they didn’t tell me, it’s their fault for this or they should’ve done that. You are the MANAGER it’s your job to take RESPONSIBILITY. As a customer I don’t want to hear you passing off the blame and throwing YOUR STAFF under the bus. I’ve notice some five star reviews have been edited to show up to the top of the feed to cover the one star reviews. I’d also like to add the manager responds to almost every review. It’s quite ironic he doesn’t respond to this. That just speaks to the truth of the issue.
Food and waitress were great, except something happened with our order and it was late to arrive. The manager spoke to us and blamed the waitress, which was terrible. Even if it was her mistake - it was a mistake. We spoke with the waitress and let her know the manager blamed her. She let us know it was her mistake and it has been taken off our bill. We were then informed she was to pay for our meals. We spoke with the manager and said we would rather pay than have the waitress pay for a mistake. He argued with us, and the waitress - in front of all the customers. It was handled so poorly by the manager - he treated the waitress so disrespectfully. It was awful to see. We gave the waitress cash for the meals and had a few more words with the manager and left. WE WILL NOT RETURN.
I went to this restaurant on my elementary school graduation day, so it has been a while. The food was awesome, lots of flavor in the burger. The burger was not like terrible McDonald's burgers. With the price of Whiskey John's burger being a little higher, the quality of the burger absolutely makes up for that. Hope to be back one day. :D
First visit here was very good, we sat on their enlarged patio . I enjoyed very good crab cakes as an appetizer and a good generous portion of perfectly cooked salmon for my entree. Our entire group was satisfied with our meals . Service was very good and our server knew when to ask us if we needed refills. Otherwise a great evening. Good to see a great place like this in our community. Enjoy their free WI-Fi.
