We dined in today and Priya was our server. She was very polite and thoughtful and recommended all the right items for us to dine in. The Shinwari Chicken Karahi was to die for. Also the Namak Handi and malai chicken tikka was also delicious. My mother in law and sister in law, who both came from Waterloo were very pleased with the quality and taste. I would highly recommend Namak Handi if you want to taste authentic Pakistani food.
I didn’t want to write a bad review for this restaurant as I really like their food. Couple of weeks ago we ordered chicken biryani, daal & karahi. While eating my partner spat out a large glass piece from his mouth. We were shocked and in disbelief as something like this if ingested could lead to death. I washed the glass to check what it is and looks like some broken pieces of god knows what. This is unacceptable. Please be aware when eating their food. We had to throw everything we bought just in case. They have good food but their safety & hygiene practices seems to be horrible.
I’m not satisfied because the Prices are high compared to other Pakistani restaurants . Biryani was not freshly cooked And nihari and paya was very little amount served compared to the price. I wish the portion is generous. Kheer ( rice pudding ) was delicious but price is too much. Karahie chicken was very good Tandoori chicken tikka was very bad doesn’t feel like barbecue it taste like boiled chicken and no flavor at all … They need to consider about their prices and the portions of the food they serve if they want to grow their business.
We ordered 2 halwa poori for take out. Both orders were packed into 1 and not separately. Looks like they wanted to save their takeout boxes. Also they did not give Achar that comes with the order.
This place is fantastic! Their food and their customer service is amazing. I ordered from uber last night and my order was messed up. To say that the owner was accommodating is an understatement. He was apologetic and gave me the remaining order at no cost, even though he has refunded the money for the missing food. I love their kheer and veal pulao and always order from them, but honestly their customer service is exceptional. I would give them 7 stars if I could!
