I bought some step runners for my van to help me get in easier because of my bad knees from Amazon. I must have phoned about a dozen places, and no one was interested, or they gave me a ridiculous price. Pro-Tech was the only shop in Whitby that helped me with a reasonable price, and they installed them like the Chrysler factory would. Very professional and functional. Thank you, Pro-Tech. P.S. They do synthetic oil changes for $80!!! That's an insane price as everywhere it's about $140!!!
Mark the owner operator is very knowlegable on all things automotive. Especially on diesel engines. He is currently helping me through an issue with my Duramax 6.6 in my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLT. All the mechanics are friendly and talented. Having to fix your ride is never good, it's a hassle, it's costly, and frustrating. Pro-tech Auto in Whitby, has an experienced staff, including Ryan in the front office keeping things running smooth, that will fix your ride properly, in a timely manner. I dropped by today because mice had chewed through my windshield washer hose. Mark, the owner came out to take a look at it and within minutes, he did the repair/hose replacement! Awesome service!
Best Auto Shop in whtiby! I got a bogus quota to fix all my brakes and rotors on my 2022 eclipse cross from Mitsubishi Motor City in whitby. I got a 2nd opinion from these guys, and they brought me in the shop to show me nothing was wrong, and I had 50% life left on my brakes. I just needed a service on my brakes. I saved over 800 dollars, getting a 2nd opinion from pro tech. Thank you!!!
Brought in my 2013 Ford Escape. The first two OEM parts they ordered didn’t work so they called me about it. I had to suggest just to find one from a second hand source. In the end they did and it worked. The reason for docking off two stars is because they left the engine cover off my engine at their shop and numerous times that I called and left a message to have it put back they did not return the message. Guess they don’t care.
Through,easy to talk to I would definitely go back and recommend. Not a fancy shop but fancy doesn't mean getting things fixed properly . Seems to be knowledgeable and trustworthy.
