The owners Dr. Schneider and Dr. Callbeck are fantastic. They go above and beyond in their treatment and working with you for the best care for your pet. They are expensive but their service and caring is 200%. I cannot praise them enough.
I started taking my dog here after someone recommended them to me after not being happy with my previous vet, and I'm so glad I did! Dr. Patterson & Dr. Snider are fantastic and all the girls at the front are always so nice and helpful. We've had to make a couple emergency trips to the office these past couple of months and they always squeeze us in and make time to see us without any issue. They're also much more affordable than many clinics in and around the area. We don't even live close to the office but we like everyone there so much and the care we receive that I would never switch. I highly recommend them.
Brought my Maltese, April, in on emergency because she suddenly couldnt walk/hold her bladder or eat. My mother is balling her eyes out holding our puppy and the vet sends his receptionist out to say hes busy. We took her to Baker and upon seeing how distraught we were he immediately grabbed her and did everything he could but she unfortunately had to be put down due to organ failure. Im writing this because any vet that sees an animal/family in crisis and doesnt even recommend what to do in the event theyre busy should not be in this profession. You unfortunately have lived up to the stereotype of a money hungry vetrinarian and Im still shocked at how callously we were turned away. I would appreciate a follow up about this event from a member of your staff.
I would highly recommend Callbeck Animal hospital. Dr Callbeck and Dr Synder are both caring and compassionate. Andrea at the front desk is a wonderful person and made me feel welcome from the first time I walked in the door. Absolute disappointment! My dog has severe skin problems.. We saw the dr. two days ago for follow up. The dr. Asked how is she doing I said she seemed better, the dr didnt touch her or checked to see her skin..I had no idea that when I gave her a bath the next day her skin is worse then ever with open sores everywhere she was shaking for hours because of the pain she was in I tried my best to get all the scabs that softened washed off. She has a very thick long coat I was shocked when I actually saw the extent of her situation! She has been on antibiotics for two weeks that were given by the clinic and I went in without making an appointment because you usually have to wait for appointments here they never just take your dog even though they are a hospital. I was told to come back in the evening but I really couldnt because I have trip scheduled, the dr. Came out wih a fake frozen smile to tell me that She can not see my dog And behaved as if I was some sort of a problem! I said I just needed someone to see my dog for 2 min just to see the horrific situation. She dismissed my problem by telling me its not an emergency and if I want to go in wih the other dogs owners to tell them that I needed to see thhe vet just because of skin issues when the other dog is really sick and mine is not! WTH is wrong with this dr?! Naturally, I got upset didnt say anything and started leaving but she had to say dont act like that! Almost blocking the door!Wth!!!!?? At this point I was fuming! I feel that this doctor is as fake as it gets! She has absolutly no sincerity or integrity! I am appalled with this brutal experience I went through! Was I a demanding client because I just wanted someone to look at my dog for 2 min? From reading the comments I can see I was mot the first nor the last that will go through that here!!! She came at me as if she wanted to escort me out! I was not welcome here! Never again will I come back here! You are a bunch of fakers and you do not care about your patients! You are an insensitive and money hungry!!! My dog is in agony I have never in my life seen an animal shake from pain like my dog did for the past 24 hours and sorry that is not considered an emergency here! You will never get another dollar from me and I will never recommend you to anyone ever just remember that!
