Nice little park for an evening stroll with kids located close to the city. You're sure to see lots of animals on the trails so make sure to bring seeds and peanuts to feed them. The trail that ends on lake Ontario shores is approximately 1.5 km long. A well maintained park and nice place for a walk on the shores. Not crowded at all. Will go back.

A natural habitat for many animals where people can enjoy observing while walking on several available paths. The conservation area is filled with chickadees, sparrows that will eat from your hands. Not to be left out are squirrels in some cases will climb up your pants for a treat. If lucky, you may even see some wild turkeys. Overall a very relaxing place to visit, but busy on early afternoons during the weekend.

Love being able to see nature at its finest. Being able to have the chickadees eat right out of your hand and the Chipmunks and squirrels following you around. Love it.

This place is awesome. Just make sure you don't go in the spring when the Canada Geese have their babies. They become quite aggressive to the point that we did not feel safe even entering the trail. The birds were charging at us and trying to bite us. But in other seasons you can feed chipmunks and birds right out of your hand. Kids love it. It's a great spot. Parking costs around $3.

Went here on a sunny day. Of the bat there is a nice lookout point with views of a small pond and the marsh. The trail is an easy walk. Ends at a nice beach area at the lakeshore. Total distance is around 3.5km. Kids seemed to have a real blast feeding the birds, ducks and geese (There is a notice saying which animals to feed). Also a good place for bird watchers. There is a small area near the beginning with a lot of Blue Jays too .PS: Bring coins for parking. $3. Flat charge of $6 on credit cards.
