I was in the Taunton location last week looking for a few cosmetics, all I had to go on was a couple of pictures. Shelley approached me and asked if I needed assistance. To which I answered YES! I showed Shelley the pictures and she was able to find the items I needed. As we spoke I told her I would be looking at purchasing make up for myself in the near future however I have a dry patch on my forehead. Shelley provided me with a sample of La Roche-Posey to help with the dryness. It has helped and I am forever thankful to her for her assistance, friendliness and knowledge. I hope Shoppers Drug Mart knows how fortunate they are to have her. Keep up the great work Shelly!
I visited this pharmacy on November 1st, 2025, at around 8:45 P.M. to refill my 88-year-old father’s prescribed prostate medication. The only staff member present at the time was Mr. Allan, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. At first, Mr. Allan asked us to wait for 30 minutes. When he finally returned, he claimed he didn’t know me personally and refused to provide the prescribed medication, even after I presented my health card and explained that I’ve been dealing with this pharmacy for years. Despite the urgency and the fact that I only needed a few pills, he continued to argue and refused to help. He contradicted his own statements several times. First, he said he didn’t know me and therefore wouldn’t give me the medicine. Then he told me to come back tomorrow and get the medication from the person I usually deal with. My question is: Is this the legal or professional code of conduct for a pharmacist? I also explained to him that this medication was for my 88-year-old father suffering from prostate issues, which can be extremely painful. I even requested just 3–4 pills to help my father through the night until I could ask the doctor to send another prescription. Yet, Mr. Allan refused and continued to argue. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, especially when it concerns an elderly person’s essential medication. I request that the management review the security footage from 8:45 P.M. on November 1st and investigate Mr. Allan’s conduct. I will also be reporting this incident to the Medical Association for further review. It’s disappointing to see such disregard for patient care from a pharmacy I’ve trusted for years.
It's one of my favourite locations. The manager/owner is super nice. All the staff is friendly and polite. Really helpful. The store is always clean and organized.
I usually come to this store and I found out they close at 10 pm and it does not stay open like the other ones It would be so convenient if they do what the other shoppers do You will get more customers probably coming when they are at McDonalds or something if that makes sense
Worst customer service. Went in to buy Ritz crackers which were on special for $1 and there was no mention of the limit on the sign. We also confirmed with one of the merchandisers there if there's a limit and he said it does not mention anything but this other customer service rep Albert came in and asked us if we were buying it for reselling. He told us to buy from Loblaws and asked us rudely to put all the things back on the shelf. Maybe this store needs to teach their staff how to talk and respect their customers.
Why is everything at Shoppers Drug Mart 3 and 4 times more then any other store? Can you say price gouging! It is owned by the same Corp as Loblaws after all! It's only a matter of time before the store goes the way of the DoDo!
Don't trust their stock online or even store. Just waited 15 minutes for the clerk to find out the 250$ item that is supposed to be in stock is missing. What a waste of time. Amazon it is.
