Love this Pet value. They are great at assisting you to find what you are looking for. Or if you are in need of a suggestion of something for your pet, they will show you in the store what to look at. (I did have one person the other day when there was showing me stuff I wasn't asking for. After 4 times of saying to her that I would just like to see xxxx I politely told her that I'll just look around myself. Was the end if the day she could have been tired) I have no issues here. Always a great place for your pet needs!!!!
Some of the BEST customer service I’ve experienced in a pet store! I’ve been twice to this location so far and I’ve met 4 different staff members. They were all SO kind and very helpful with my questions. Both times they gave me free treat samples for my pup to try. Cindy specifically was so kind, bubbly and enthusiastic! My puppy got excited and yanked the leash causing my hand to graze against one of the shelves and my thumb started bleeding. Cindy was quick to run to the back and grab me a bandaid and even put it on for me! Very sweet and thoughtful. Thank you for making my experience great.
Alyssa tried to overcharge me $20 for an item I purchase weekly with the price literally ON it. She was so rude about iit too my total came up way too high so I questioned the price of everything and she says $36.99 for quail. I said no they're $16.99 and was friendly about it but she snaps back rudely NO THEYRE $36.99. The sticker is on it with price, the website has the price and she's giving me attitude basically not wanting to even check the system the other girl did for me thankfully and wasn't rude about it . Of course Alyssa saw she was wrong , did not apologize . Just a dirty look . Unreal. Get friendlier staff I spend hundreds of dollars a week at pet valu and to be treated like that is just not ok and overcharging customers $20 for an item? Yikes .. is she pocketing it I'm so happy I didn't just pay it and knew from shopping there so much something was off even with multiple items
Good store but the bags they give out are cheap junk that fall apart the second you leave the store no matter how you hold it. Good luck to you if you forget your own bag and have to walk for more than 5 mins with their junk.
Staff are very helpful and friendly at this location. Well stocked (we love Acana food and are happy they carry it!) but if they happen to be out of something, they go out of their way to figure out how they can find you what you need. Really appreciate the delivery service offered by PetValu. The only thing I would mention is that in the past, some staff were not able to help me when I was looking for specific kinds of food for dietary restrictions; specifically, poultry-free dog food (wet and dry) and wet food appropriate for diabetic cats.
I can't say enough about my experiences at this location. Special thanks to Danielle for her attention and her helpfulness with our very picky dog and his food issues. This location has gone out of their way to locate product for me, and to explain product benefits to help me make appropriate choices for our dog. Thank you so much, you guys are fantastic!
I've visited twice in the last 3 days...once because I was in the area and the second time because of the exceptional service I received!!! Lea is so friendly, knowledgeable and patient. She brought my order out to the car without any hesitation and answered all my questions with eagerness and honesty. The second time I visited I met 2 of the other staff who were also amazing, friendly and helpful. We'll keep coming back to this location even though it's a little further from home!
