The center called 15mins before appointment that the ultrasound is cancelled becuase they type of service isn't available. We booked the appointment online (website) and the service was mentioned on their website. They say in their system it warked cancelled but then why would then not call us in advance. Very poor communication
Very nice and tidy clinic, scheduled time is on point, The admin staff is very pleasant over the phone and in person! Technologists are very professional, warm and gentle. I highly recommend this place.
I had my first visit for a mammogram today. I was there a bit early but they took me pretty much soon as I got there. I had Glenda. She made a painful procedure less uncomfortable. She is very professional and compassionate. Thank you.
The admin staff are great friendly and accommodating. The waiting room is clean and was not busy at all which is nice. Appointment was also on time which is important when having to hold your bladder for an hour + ! The ultrasound tech was very informative, explaining every step and allowing me to view the monitor. Over all a really nice and pleasant experience. Will definitely be going back for my Anatomy scan and any other ultrasound related imaging required in the near future thank you Durham Medical
This is by far my favorite place to go whenever I need an ultrasound. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a very lovely and kind receptionist. She is so welcoming and her voice and demenour alone calm any nerves you may be feeling. The office and rooms are immaculately clean. The ultrasound technician is thorough and very knowledgeable. I was a little hesistant with the tech being a male however he made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. He was kind, gentle and knowledgeable and was more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had. This place is THE BEST in Durham there is really no comparison! Great work Durham Medical Centre!
To be honest, I didn’t know a male technician is doing the Ultrasound so I was a bit hesitant. However the technician is AMAZING! I have been to 3-4 other clinics, but nobody care to explain anything, and hides the screen for some reason. However, the technician here made sure I can see the screen and explained everything that was going on. It was a very relaxing experience. There was one more person (a female) in the ultrasound room, she is being taught probably. I didn’t have any problem with that, infact in my case I was relieved to have a female inside the room. I would definitely go there again for my upcoming ultrasounds. I am happy I didn’t backout because it was a male technician!
I’m so thankful that I found this location. It is very convenient, clean and accessible. They staff is timely, kind, patient and friendly. We found them accommodating and wonderful at explaining things. Highly recommend.
