Made a reservation for a wedding a month or so in advance. Check in is at 3 which is when the wedding started so I called in early the day before to see if we can get an early check in and was told no. So asked if we can check in later in the evening and was told yes. Called again the day of the wedding to verify that we can still check in late at was told yes no problem. Showed up at the hotel that evening to be told that our room was given away as we weren't there by 6pm. And all other rooms were booked. So we had to drive 3 hours home since no other hotels had rooms available that night. Worst hotel experience ever and the reception was not sympathetic at all just said no more rooms available.
Check in was about as unfriendly as possible. Smoke could be smelt as soon as you entered the building and was very strong in the hallways. We saw a young child with a tiny kitten in the hallway - heard a bird in another room. Clearly must be more long term residents. Worst part was noise that went on thru most of the night. Just people talking in the next room but they might as well have been in my room.
Location was good, everything else was abysmal. Expensi9for the facilities that you provide. 10 to 15 dollars more and comfort inn has microwave, refrigerator and breakfast included. Better value for money. Not sure I will stay there again. Best of luck.
This hotel has no respect for there customers. There was people running the halls being extremely loud for most of the night. I was keep awake until 2AM with girls outside our room speaking so loudly I could hear the conversation.We were then awoken at 8:00AM with very loud music so loud it was as if it was in our room. Out side our room in the hall there was a very strong smell of Marijuana. It will be a long time before I stay at another Motel 6. The front desk did call to get them to turn music off but they still were smoking. Its a shame they allow people to behave in this manner because the rooms were nice
Easily accessible off Hwy 401. Friendly staff. If needed anything extra, (towels, etc since family of 4 and room only had stuff for 2 people) staff accompanied. Close toall amenities. Price quite reasonable for peak season.
