The Benjamin Moore store at 605 Brock Street in Whitby has always been my place to go. A friendly, knowledgeable staff ready to assist me with any questions I may have. The store is well stocked and I always leave with everything I need.
The best BM in Durham! Fantastic customer service and an excellent knowledge of paint colours / finishes. Speedy service and the ability to colour match, which is always a bonus. We’ll be back again for all our painting needs during our renovation - and beyond!
The store is very well managed by the staff. One of the staff members left no stone unturned to make the colour I wanted for exterior paint of my new home. The contractors kind of messed it up but the staff member saved me. Very kind and helpful.
We are a renovation company and recently purchased paint from this Benjamin Moore store. Unfortunately, we chose a shade that turned out to be too bright for our project. When we went back, the staff went above and beyond to help us adjust the color. The gentleman assisting us was incredibly friendly and accommodating, taking about an hour to perfectly match the darker shade we needed—all without charging us extra. His professionalism, patience, and willingness to help made the experience seamless. On top of that, his prices are consistently better than other Benjamin Moore stores we've been to. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for great service and competitive pricing!
I can’t say enough good things about this store and their staff! Every time I explain my project they offer me tons of information including all my price options! The knowledge & recommendations here are greatly appreciated & accurate! I drive OUT of my way just to go to this particular store. I would not say I have had the same experience with several other locations! One time my dad went to get a few supplies and they had already locked up and closed for the night. They came out of their car and re opened the store just so he could get what he needed ! Another time I had a terrible experience with a product, recommended to me from another place, not only did they help me strategize a way to fix what I did they even offered a discount to help offset the cost & loss even though the product I originally used was not from their store ! As a first-time painter, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, but the staff made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Had to repaint my cabinets because we ordered a new quartz countertop. After a lot of research, the best paint award for cabinets went to ScruffX by Benjamin Moore. I went to the store and bought 2 colours white and dark grey as I was going to dual paint my cabinets. The Postmas are very nice people and have amazing knowledge about the product and paint in general. I took home distant grey and amherst grey colors. And after I finished painting everyone including the big boss (wife) was very very pleased with the quality of the colour and the ease of painting. I have always purchased Behr and CIL from home depot but now I know for any paints for my house I will always come to the store and buy quality paint. I hosted 2 party's for my daughter's bday end of December and my guests couldnt stop praising about how the cabinets were looking with the new paint. Thanks Postmas for your assistance and help.
