There should be an option for -Second time coming here.Place is FILTHY! Wet towels on the floor from leaky machines. Trash cans full. Many machines out of order. Wrong change given out of their machine TWICE. Prices from $3.5-$9.5Smaller machines are more than the 2 large ones.Have used 4 different dryers. Dryers don't dry first time around. Don't waste your time in this dump!!Beck again after a few months.. place is clean and smells nice.. I have 4 loads of laundry going- one machine starts at 26 minutes, sounds like hell and has almost no water in it. Rhe one beside it is Out of order. Another load where the washer is leaking water. "No clothing breaking the seal. The seal IS broken!The attendant seems to be doing their job.
I've always loved this place, it's convenient, lots of parking, very clean, tons of larger washers and staff that can help if needed. There doing it right, no foolishness.
Just moved to Whitby in Feb. Needed a laundromat and searched for one on line. Very cautious about trying out Washday due to some of the poor reviews, however it is closest to my home. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! I mentioned this to the owner who was helping me navigate the machines during the first visit about my surprise and he assured me he and the staff have taken the few negative comments to heart. What more can you ask. Anyway, I will be back as the machines are great ( big ) and the place was clean. If in doubt, try this laundromat yourself.
I called ahead and spoke to (who I believe is) the owner. This was Friday around lunchtime, he told me to bring in my laundry and hed have it done by Sunday (Monday latest). I needed wash, dry and fold service due to basement Renos. I walked in at the time we had discussed and a very rude lady told me Will be done Thursday. I explained the arrangement I had made with the owner and she said I leave 5pm, I no work weekend, you wait and talk to him. Hanging out for 45 minutes with my dirty laundry (and an extremely rude employee) didnt suit me so I took it over to Dundas and Thickson and had a much better experience.
Absolutely horrible place, their change machine gives you tokens that you can only use at thier place, they say last washing load is at 10 pm but if you ever get there at 10.05 pm and ONLY need to use their dryer for 30min 2 hrs b4 they close they won't let you in. Waste of time and $$$, horrible place to visit even once.
