This evening my 16 year old daughter and I were in the Whitby store and had such a negative experience it warranted this review. My daughter who works in a near by restaurant, went into the Carter’s store after work. She was followed around the store and made to feel uncomfortable. When I approached the staff named Ace and told her that she is making my daughter uncomfortable, she said she thought my daughter put an outfit in her takeout bag. My daughter showed me an outfit and then hung it up. It didn’t go into a bag. I question, do all customers get followed around the store if they pick up outfits and put them back? Or only 16 year old girls. The items we were going to purchase, we then put back and will definitely never go to that store again. I feel so terrible for my daughter to have had this negative experience.
Been trying for a few days to purchase an item (sold out online) and went to store to see if I could find it there but also sold out. Today I received a call from a lovely lady that works there to ask if I was still interested in the item because she had one at the store!! I was sooooooo happy she remembered me!!! Thank you so much for the amazing customer service!
The two ladies working this morning (Sunday) were so incredibly rude. They seemed put out by customers coming into the store to shop. I wish the other locations had not closed as I will not be returning here.
I love the selections and designs! For customer service, it depends on who you get at cashier. Most stuff are really kind and nice but supervisor person was not. She’s slow never thank to the customers, never smiles. Why is she the supervisor, what are you supervising.
Good sales once in a while. I find the store cluttered and it depends on the day if the staff are friendly. They NEVER answer the phone. This is super irritating, especially if I am at another store looking for something specific and I pack both kids in the car to go to another location only to find they are sold out.
The ladies here are ALWAYS helpful, patient and courteous!!! No matter how long the transaction is, you never feel rushed and they are sure to thank you for waiting patiently on other customers!!!
Great options in the store, conveniently located and ample parking options. Francis, the store supervisor was great... She and Ann were amazing helping me by phone and then in store. Shared their experiences with what's best based on our needs.
