Friend recommended I get steaks for the weekend here and it was well worth it! Meat was awesome and so was the marinated chicken. Have tried quite a few butchers in Durham and these steaks have been my favorite. Will be stocking up on all my meat here from now on

The quality of the meat is amazing. We come here for several specific items as a treat and sometimes pick up something different to mix it up . Everything has been great. There’s a ton of gluten free options prepared on safe surfaces which makes hosting my family members with celiac disease a breeze. I also witnessed the owner helping a person with a disability walk to their car and carried the person’s groceries out too on a rather miserable and snowy day. There wasn’t any other customers around to witness this and I was back in my car when I saw it. It’s clear the attentiveness of the owner extends beyond the food and I’m very proud to support that kind of local business.
Hands down the best butcher shop In North Durham. My favourite thing to get here is the coconut curry chicken breast. It is the best quality chicken I have ever had. Def worth a visit and they have lots of local products too!

Great shop. I bought the newly brought in crawfish. My wife and I head to New Orleans, that is normally our 1st stop to eat. Now we can in comfort of home. We did so for Xmas eve, yum. Well worth it.
