I was so disappointed. Ordered a simple warm drink half sweet, no toppings. A little pick-me-up for a long drive ahead. I was far from the shop by the time I took my first sip. So syrupy sweet. 200% sugar. Disgusting. I was the only order in the shop so it's not like they were rushed or overwhelmed. Such a massive error on such a simple drink. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of everything.
Gong Cha is a great spot for bubble tea lovers, offering a variety of creative and refreshing drinks in a modern, welcoming ambience that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual treat. On our visit, we tried four drinks, Mango Milk Tea, Oreo Chocolate Shake, Strawberry Oreo Smoothie, and Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea. Overall, everything was enjoyable, but a few stood out more than others. The Oreo Chocolate Shake was rich, creamy, and indulgent, with just the right balance of chocolate and cookie flavor, easily a top pick. The Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea was another favorite, with its deep tea aroma blending beautifully with the sweetness of the brown sugar syrup and the smoothness of the milk. The Strawberry Oreo Smoothie was also very good, offering a refreshing fruity base complemented by the Oreo crunch, making it a fun twist. The Mango Milk Tea, while decent, could use a stronger mango flavor to really pop compared to the others. That said, the drinks were well-prepared, presentation was on point, and the ambience added to the overall experience. Definitely worth visiting, and we’ll be back to explore more of the menu, especially those Oreo and brown sugar drinks.
Have been here a few times now and honestly really like the drinks, they are quality. The staff on the other hand need some work, I have seen a few different staff at this place and all of them generally seem like they do not want to be there. The attitude towards what they are doing and towards customers needs to be improved. Particularly the Filipino gentleman with the big lips cannot seem to get orders 100% correct (everytime something is slightly off), as well as the dark skin girl simply has attitude towards doing her job. Work can be frustrating, people have bad days and this is understandable however this shouldn’t be seen by customers. I would recommend taking this feedback and reflecting on how staff are trained rather than just dismissing it like you have in other reviews. Overall the drinks are good so at the end of the day that’s what counts. Would change to a 5 star with good custy service.
I went to this location today a few minutes before closing i ordered a mango smoothie with tapioca when i got home i realised there was no tapioca in the drink. The quality of service should not go down in the last few minute as the store is still open. I will be avoiding this location in the future
Milk foam wintermelon is the best for those who like creamy, a little bit sweet, and slightly salty drink! Perfect for my Asian tastebuds I must say You can either order thru the self-order screen or thru the cashier. Accepts cash, interac, and credit. Staff are nice. You can get your order for like 5 minutes because there’s usually no queue. The only thing I think they can improve on are their cup lids? Sometimes it peels off itself instantly, even if you don’t intend to take it off. Other than that, everything’s good
We always visited this location as we moved from Toronto so we know how Gongcha has a good bubble tea, once a week we drive from Clarington, I feel it was waste of gas and our money spend as they were not able to honour the discount we had in our loyalty account it says it expires on 24th may and we were informed by the employee who called the owner to confirmed that it is expired and cant used but I can click it and redeem the buy 2 get one offer. For me, I am never going to visit this location in my life. Me and my wife have decided it there right as of today, if we been going their spending our money and they can’t honour the discount which is valid and provided by them, no point of going to this place anymore. Edit: If you check the pictures which I posted it shows the offer expires on 24th of May, not 23rd… I have never seen any offers expires before the printed expired date
We had purchased a minimum of 6 drinks every time, in 5 to 6 times, I am very disappointed that they bothered to ask you how you will like your drinks and just make it to their will and don't get one drink right like last time, don't bother calling David will never respond to your calls, I love the place and drinks... just poor management...
