I might not be the target audience for this place but I went to get some deals but found slightly higher prices. It's bright and the cashiers were nice
customer's order picked up by other people. Actually only store stuff can steal the order and mark as picked up... manager told customer store has no security camera I to check!
This store can be a good option for certain purchases. While bulk and business items often offer excellent value, non-bulk items can be similarly or more expensive than at other retailers. Earning Optimum points is a nice perk.
This place is great if your stuck and need something ASAP ( and cost isn’t an issue) they have about everything you could think of! However it can be pricey! Theres no membership fee which is great and open to the public but sometimes the prices can reflect that. Either way its a great last minute go too and plenty of variety.
This place is not bad if you don't want to pay for a membership elsewhere. But the problem I have with this location, is that the price fluctuations is insane; it's pushing me to shop elsewhere! For example, case of water, Nestle 1.5ltr. a month ago it was $6.49, then it went up $2 a few weeks later. Then up again yesterday. Dasani water a case is now $30.99 (24x591ml) when meanwhile the same case at Costco is $15.99. As a matter of fact practically everything in this place is higher than their leading competition, Costco. I hate the fact that there's a membership fee but at this rate, I'm getting one. This is not a good place to shop if you own a business and need constant stock for your business. It's funny how superstore has certain items cheaper than here, now that is just crazy at this rate. The good thing I can mention is you can buy cigarettes from here if there's a delay from the tobacco company. They have cases of bic lighters also. What else can I say, not much of a line up when I check out from here. Parking lot is huge and this place is located in Whitby off of thickson exit. Staff are super friendly and the place is clean and well stocked. You can collect PC optimum points here, which I'm a huge fan of. Just too bad I prefer to shop at superstore and no frills.
We had driven by this place and noticed it for a couple of years, Today we decided to go in. It is a mix of wholesale foods and food service ( ie. restaurant size options). Beside food they have a large area for take out cups, containers etc. for restaurants. large size vegetables and meats frozen foods and fish. There is definite savings here if you know what you are looking for.
