Hands down the best local grocery store around. Not nearly the size of the big one like sobeys or metro, but everything is great quality. The cuts or meat are always good. The home made sausages are excellent. The bread is the freshest around. The produce seems well maintained and I have even heard them discussing how they only want fresh products out and removed some vegetables off the shelves which still looked good to me. You can tell there is a lot of personal pride in ownership/ of this store. They also have a great little garden section. Everyone is always helpful too.
Peter and his staff are tops and have the best bar none bakery in town have shopped there for years.cheers
Foodland is fine but I really don't like the fact that there are booths set up as you check out....one for Rogers Cable and the other one is for donations. I had no cash for a donation and It's embarrassing.
Clean, small local store with friendly staff and a small town vibe. The deli and bakery offer fresh baked meals and deserts. Good selection of fruits & vegetables, meats and name brand products. Definitely worth a visit if youre in or live in the area. Highly recommend.
Thankful it was open today (labour day Monday) Also produce looked great. Big section of meat. Even though it was very busy the lines were short and fast and the cashier was friendly
