I used to love shopping here and have been a long time customer. I brought some clothes to offer for selling (with a booked appt). The lady who signed me in (Tues Aug 26) was very rude and assumed I hadn't made an appt. I left my stuff, came back and all the nicely organized clothes were a mess and they took 3 items for $10. One of which was a whistle and flute pristine condition sweater I spent $50 on only a year ago. I had to refold/organize the clothes and took to OUAC and got over $50. As much pride as you take in your store i take in clothes I've spent lots of money on and taken good care of. I can appreciate the buy/sell factor but the unkindness from the staff was what got me. I miss the original owner... sad to say I won't be back
I wanted to take the time to update my review. The last few times I’ve been in the store the employees have been very friendly. It’s a quiet and beautiful store with such beautiful clothing that are hand selected. I always find the most amazing gems. A beautiful store in Whitby
This store is such a gem! After stumbling on it purely by chance, it has become my absolute favourite store to shop at! 90 percent of my son’s wardrobe was purchased here and I’m always blown away by the vast selection available to me. Everything from clothes to outerwear, sleepwear and toys…we have stocked up on nearly everything my son has needed throughout his first 17 months of life and at a fraction of the cost! I’ve been buying from Danielle before she even had the beautiful boutique downtown. I’ve always appreciated the immaculate state of the clothing and the selection of items including many small shop pieces and high demand brands. When Danielle opened the storefront I was so happy, not only did she continue to keep a high standard for the items she was buying and selling but she maintains a very clean and organized store, is always making improvements and changes to make shopping easier. I have sold items to the boutique a few times now and have always felt I received more than fair compensation. I compare this to other used children clothing stores who offer little to no $ towards great condition and small shop items. Thank you Danielle for providing a beautiful small shop with high quality clothing so that I can dress my baby and toddler better than I do myself on the daily
I love the availability of preloved Canadian quality brands you can’t get at any other consignments stores! And my fav is that they also sell a variety of super cute new items from high quality venders !
Lovey pre-loved is an incredible preloved shop that clearly prides itself on quality pieces of clothing that are meticulously selected and inspected. This is a benefit to all shoppers as you’re not wasting your time inspecting all the items as you’re browsing, only to find a stain or a hole. The pricing does differ from OUAC as the items are not from Carters and Walmart. If you’re on the hunt for a huge selection of cheap, play condition items, this may not be the place for you. When you shop at Lovey Preloved, you are shopping a curated selection of like new secondhand items from small shop Canadian brands and/or premium brands. We love it here!
