The food was amazing … the atmosphere was lovely! I would strongly recommend this place! If you want a fun, engaging place to watch any sports game — especially with big screens, a good menu, and bar atmosphere — BarDown is a great choice. It balances good food, strong viewing setup, and a friendly vibe.

Bardown has become our go-to spot whenever we’re at the rink! We had a few specific requests for one of our family members with dietary restrictions, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was just right — no hassle, just genuine hospitality. Bar Down is fantastic! I spent a lot of time there this hockey season enjoying a cold beer with friends. The servers are great and very friendly. They are welcoming and always accommodating. The food is top notch. I have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the steak sandwich! Even though hockey season is over I will still make sure I go to Bar Down throughout the summer and enjoy the delicious food and cold beer! Cheers to all the staff!
A great place to stop In for food and a beverage after the hockey game. Great atmosphere with the sports pub environment, but also enjoyed the menu options and service. 5 star on the smash burger.
Love this place. Food is fantastic, service is super friendly, and an energetic atmosphere. Was introduced to it from being at the arena all the time and now we go there on date nights / family get togethers.
The Whitby Wild Ringette U10 Team celebrated a great tourney silver medal with our friends at BarDown! The service was excellent. We had twelve families join us and the drink and food orders were dealt with promptly. The food was served hot and the portion sizes plentiful. The parents and kids really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service. It was nice to see one of my sons old hockey teammates Drew Cairns working hard, he is a role model to the other 2006 kids working two jobs and studying for University! I would recommend BarDown to my Emergency Service family as well as anyone that enjoys great service, plentiful tasty food at a competitive price!! Best of luck in 2024!
