Had an appointment at 9am for X-ray and an ultrasound. Ultrasound (opens at 8am) was done quickly but had to wait for the x-ray which only opens at 9am. They only have one x-ray machine and the tech walked in 10 minutes late. Had to wait until 9:45am for the x-ray.
When I walked in, the attitude/tone of the receptionist was enough to make me take back my requisition and walk out. I refuse to get serviced from people who don’t like their job. Whitby Medical Xray on Dundas Street in Whitby is far better. I would recommend going there if you can.
First time here and had a great experience. I was in and out in 20 min and my tech was awesome. She was kind and gentle. I would come back for ultrasounds
Receptionist was the only person in the building. Seemed more concerned with a personal phone conversation rather than with assisting the rising number of patients. When she finally decided to take a second from talking on the phone, she dismissed 2 of the 3 people we saw her "help" and then told us we needed an appointment and couldn't get our test done today. The office had been empty up until that point and there was no indication that any appointments were taking place. As soon as she had helped some of the people waiting, she went right back to talking on the phone and left the rest of the patients to wait even longer. Honestly never seen such behaviour in a supposedly professional setting.
I came on Sunday for my son's ultrasound the lady booked appointment for Monday and kept the requisition paper . Next day when I came they told the paper is lost it was so irresponsible act.
I went to this clinic for a walk-in X-ray and found the receptionist and the X-ray technician friendly, kind and professional. I showed up right at 9am and service was quick (in and out in 30 minutes). Thank you!
If I could give Zero stars then I would based on a visit on May 23, 2023. I would NOT recommend this place at all. Let's start off with the woman at the desk, I would not call her a Receptionist because she's unprofessional, rude, abrupt with no manners. She needs training in dealing with patients. She is not a compassionate person at all. She appears to have a chip on her shoulder. She's lacking the skills to communicate effectively.
