We ordered 3 masala dosa and lunch special. There is no salt in the dosa. Moreover it was not stuffed properly. Very big piece of onion and big patoto pieces. Not mashed properly. No one liked . Most of the food thrower in the garbage. Don't recommend this place ever
Okay I gotta be honest here. I was pretty skeptical of the rave reviews thinking after all there are so many south indian restaurants in GTA, how different could this be. But boy , was I wrong...their masala dosa filling , sambar and chutney were definitely worth the hype . One bite and it literally took me on a trip down the memory lane. So authentic and tastes exactly like what I grew up eating back home...Definitely coming back for more !!
70 cents each for easily the best veg samosas I’ve ever had. Amma’s chicken is also one of the best and most affordable Indian chicken dishes I’ve tried in Durham, and as Indian food lovers know, there are tons of them out there these days. In fact, everything I’ve had here has been spot on and well priced. The menu isn’t the biggest but it’s more than enough; what they do, they do well. The place has a nice decor and looks immaculate, which I can’t say the same for a few similar places around here. As far as I can tell it’s just a one woman and one man operation and I’m happy to give them as much business as I can. They’re doing an amazing job and deserve success.
I ordered twice at this place, same orders. The 1st incident they 4got to give me the sauce for the samosas. 2nd incident, I order 2 types of samosas chicken and beef, instead they give me chicken and vegetables samosa. Maybe next time, pay attention to details of the customers orders to avoid mistakes. Thank you.
This place is amazing! We ordered two 11.99 lunch specials with the butter chicken and chicken Tikka along with a side order of palak paneer. Chicken is juicy and tender, both curries were fresh and flavorful, and the serving sizes are very generous for the price point (came with naan, rice and a samosa too!) We will definitely be back!
