I have been bringing my vehicle to Gus Brown since purchase, and the Service Department has always been exceptional. A special thanks to Benito, the Service Manager, for his professionalism and excellent customer service, along with the service advisors who make the experience smooth and stress free every time. Thanks!
I had a fantastic experience purchasing my new Tuscon hybird at Gus Brown in Brooklin. My sales associate, Karen Powell, was knowledgeable, thorough, and an absolute joy to work with. The vehicle I had originally expressed interest in was sold while we were enroute to the dealership. Knowing we were already on our way, Karen lined up other options and I ended up with a vehicle even more inline with what I was looking for. Richard in financing was great to work with as well, and very knowledgeable and thorough. Would definitely consider another purchase from this dealership.
Karen was great to work with. She was welcoming, professional, and made the entire experience simple and enjoyable. If you're looking for someone who cares, I highly recommend asking for her, she will set you up.
I have bought many cars over the years but never had such a great warm approach to customer service as I had with Scott Woods and Sean Diljohn. They are well informed, explain things very well with no gimmicky sales pitches! They made the paperwork seem easy. I will highly recommend them to friends, family and all to purchase or lease from Gus Brown Hyundai, Brooklin! That’s how you do it!
I wanted to provide an update regarding my earlier experience. After I raised my concerns, the service manager Benito personally stepped in to review the situation. He was very supportive, took the time to inspect the issue thoroughly, and made sure everything was properly resolved. The mechanic Henry did an excellent job identifying and fixing the source of the noise — his attention to detail was impressive. I also really appreciate Karen, the service advisor, who handled the entire process calmly and professionally, ensuring that I was kept informed every step of the way. I’m happy to say that the issue with my car has now been resolved, and I’m satisfied with the level of care and service provided by the team. Thank you to Benito, Henry, and Karen for their great support and effort!
I recently purchased a 2026 Palisade and had an excellent experience thanks to the outstanding service from both the salesperson and the finance manager at the dealership. Kevin Yuan was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all of my questions without pressure, and made sure I was comfortable with every step. Richard made the financing process smooth and stress-free. They clearly explained all the available options, worked to get us a competitive rate, and were upfront about everything—no surprises. Their professionalism and transparency were truly appreciated. Together, they made what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Thank you both for your excellent service!
Sold a vehicle as-is but also with no mechanical disclosures. When I arrived to pick it up and drive it 110 kms home, it had no cabin heat and overheated in 10 Kms. A car dealer should know how to inspect a vehicle they are putting up for sale. The listing should have said- Vehicle has no cabin heat, vehicle overheats, vehicle needs towed. If I read that I simply wouldn't have bought it. EDIT- FULL DISCLOSURE is a LEGAL requirement as stated in the MVDA 2002 Code of Ethics for WHOLESALE transactions. You failed to appraise/inspect YOUR vehicle properly and in doing so, I was the one who suffered losses of time and money. My reply to your updated reply- The price of the vehicle does not matter. Even AS-IS vehicles on the auction are sold with the expectation they can be driven back to the buyers lot unless stated otherwise. Again FULL DISCLOSURE IS THE LAW. There is no caveat regarding year or price of vehicle. LEARN THE LAW! I'll put it here for you to study! "Motor Vehicle Dealers Act, 2002 ONTARIO REGULATION 332/08 CODE OF ETHICS AND OPERATION OF COMMITTEES: Disclosure of information in contracts of sale and lease. A registered motor vehicle dealer who enters into a contract to sell or lease a motor vehicle to a person who is also a registered motor vehicle dealer shall ensure that the following information is disclosed in the contract:" "Any other fact about the vehicle that affects the structural or mechanical quality or performance of the vehicle and that, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to influence the decision of a reasonable purchaser or lessee to buy or lease the vehicle. O. Reg. 332/08, s. 5; O. Reg. 220/09, s. 1."
