I was part of a bait and switch scam that included the sin and Whitby ontario and Uber Eats. I ordered the bill was supposed to be 45. They flipped it to a buck and a quarter. So I canceled, but apparently when you cancel, you have to pay.So I got no food, no compensation.And all this happened in five minutes from my order.Time buyer bewareThe company said they'll get the bill or the money in two weeks.So I was stuck in limbo having to pay a $110 for nothing. And the company, the Zen said, sorry about your luck. Thanks for the dough and goober. Eats said it's their policy. Once you cancel, they had to cook their meat. Sorry about your luck. Just be careful before you push that. Button because the app is gonna bait and switch you. And then they're gonna laugh. Cause they just took free money for nothing
Zen cuisine was one my favourite take-out Chili, chicken, dry, ginger, beef, chicken, sauté, mango , & hot noodles. We usually order from the Stouffville location however we moved and recently ordered from the Whitby location, unfortunately, we were less than satisfied with our $281 order, the quality of the food does not compare to Stouffville and after paying online… there was a lot of back-and-forth about whether or not they received the order at the front counter…until a lovely gentleman came out of the back with our order…the lady at the counter I have no idea about our order and was trying to convince my husband that we were at the wrong location. Not worth the money we paid!
Good place for some halal Hakka food. Food was tasty and the serving portions were good. They also have a lunch special menu on the weekdays. Hosts were courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place for hakka their hakka offerings.
I love their chilli chicken. Most of the time we do take out, but sitting is better. You will get a big quantity of each item. Loved their lunch special.
Food always amazing , fresh & quickly served. Portion size is good. Have Thai n Hakka Chinesse option. Lunch deal is pretty amazing. Little expensive compare to other Hakka Mango Salad is a must
Been coming here for a while now never had any complaints but when I went today there was a Indian/ punjabi worker who had no manners of how to receive or give the order before when we used to walk in we were welcomed by the Asian.l cashier today this guy was leaned back and had his full attention on his phone if this is the level of service that continues unfortunately I will stop visiting there is another review about this person aswell please take action before this amazing restaurant gets run down like the other ♂️
UPDATE! Yesterday 06/22/23 picked up food which wasn’t cooked! Very disappointed. To this update the owner responded saying “Response from the owner 7 hours ago Hi Shankar, Sorry to hear that. This doesn't look like food from our restaurant” why would I take a picture from an other place. Also same night I called and spoke to a lady at the store. She offered credit and I told her I didn’t call for that. I’ve been a customer over 6 years from the old place. I’ve been coming here for long time and always they were able to substitute meat for veggies but today refused to do so and was bit disappointed. That’s why I’m giving 3 ⭐️ but food quality always been good! Hope will be the same today.
