Obsessed with Greek Freak in Brooklin! The chicken pita is insanely fresh, the pita is soft, the chicken is perfectly cooked, and that Freak Sauce is next level. The owner is so friendly and genuinely makes you feel welcome every time. He even offered us coupons and free drinks, which was such a nice touch. This place is 100% my new go-to spot in Brooklin
THIS is now my go to for when I NEED a chicken pita! It's super convenient to my house so perfect for those cravings! I ordered the chicken pita and the hubby ordered a mix of both chicken and pork. The tzatziki sauce is perfect - it's tasty and sticks to the meat such that you don't end up wearing it. The chicken is lovely white breast meat and lots of it. Not a fan of french fries in my pita (although my daughter loves that surprise in there) but they were happy to substitute cucumber instead for me. I tried a grapefruit drink that was suggested and it was lovely. BUT, the best part of this experience, the server was patient and friendly - something that seems rare these days in fast food. Not just us, but everyone that entered was greeted with smiles and pleasantries - whether you were eating in/out. When we got home my husband said he thought it was most odd that he entered the cost of our dinner into the machine, passed on the tip portion and then handed the machine to my husband for tap payment. Now, I know there are some people that don't feel tipping in fast food is warranted; only sit down restaurant meals with waitresses, but THIS service definitely deserves a tip. Service with a smile, courteous and the food is awesome - you, my good man, deserve the 20% gratuity. Two pitas and two drinks for under $30! That's unheard of. I also saw an ad that students can get a pita and a drink for $9.99! Wish I had this option when I was in high school. Will definitely be back - I want to try the souvlaki dinner next time. I also noted there is a fridge stocked with many desserts and some meat products. I may have to partake in those one day too. Oh, and did I mention it was spotless? Well done. See you next week.
Chicken Souvlaki dinners are decent but they could be much better. They definitely need to learn to make a proper Taziki sauce as I have no clue what they're putting in theirs but it does not taste right. Chicken and rice are alright rice is sometimes too hard and undercooked. The salad is always good and fresh. Service is always super friendly and quick.
Wanted to give this local business a bump. We would travel for the original location, as the pita's are top notch. Was happy to see one open up close to home. First experience was a surprise, as the location does not yet have a spit set up for pork gyro. The chicken was all excellent, but the pork dishes were not up to par. The owner absolutely agreed and has since taken a dish off the menu until they have the traffic for a large proper pork rotisserie. They also offered to replace any gyro dish we had with a free chicken dinner or pita. Since that day, we have ordered most of everything on the menu and it is all top notch. Greek food typically ends up with a couple of lackluster items on your plate, but not here. The pitas are fat, stuffed with chicken and fries. The plates have flavorful rice, potatoes and chicken. Nothing dry or bland. Hoping the business thrives, and gets those pork gyros up and selling!
The food was good and the chicken pita with French fries was delicious. The Greek potato were awesome and the food came out in a timely manner. A big plus was the staff. The guy helped me with my choice of food and it turned out just what I wanted. Highly recommended and I will return for sure.
I was a big fan of greeking out, the place that was there before greek freak and was sceptical at first but I went to try it out and I was not disappointed. Staff was Very friendly, got the chicken Souvlaki dinner and it was really good. Usually don’t like the potatoes at Greek places but i really enjoyed them here. I will go back for sure
