I left an honest review of the way the owner treated me in regards to repairing or rather NOT REPAIRING my Cartier watch and I come back to find he slandered me (which he has since removed) - the owner charged me $600 for the “repair”- he takes all sorts of pictures of his “work” and has a fancy locking entry door which I now think is rather more for irate customers then security - the watch stopped running the next day - after three tries each time the watch stopped running shortly after I picked it up -In the meantime I moved from the area-was unable to give him a fourth try at fixing it - I made a special trip to whitby to deal with the situation as he would not pay for fedex - at that time I asked for half the 600$ back since he was unable to fix the watch - he totally refused to discuss any kind of course of action or refund (maybe cause I’m an older woman on my own)In my experience with the owner he is a big talker about how great he is and how great he runs his store - any jeweler can sell you items but if you need major repairs on an expensive watch piece I advise to STAY CLEAR . The owner will talk and talk literally about how great his watchmaster is and how he really wants to do his very best for you and how he will work so hard for you - I have to admit I fell for all his smooth talk and trusted him. He convinced me he could save me money rather than go to Cartier for repairs and got taken to the cleaners badly - he even changed the battery twice at my expense (so besides the $600) to see if he could get it going - all this happened in a couple of month period as I was having to move - my bad should have gone direct Cartier but his bad… very unethical

I came in two weeks ago to fix my two bracelets and my necklace, and I didn’t even step inside yet and I was greeted with great energy from the owner. The man loves his job and loves to perfect his work, he will talk to you and tell you exactly what’s wrong and what needs to be done with a very good price and is also fast with his work. Very humble, kind and hard working, will always go there to buy jewelry and fix any of mine.
