Tried Chica’s Chicken in Whitby for the first time and it honestly blew me away. There’s a reason they’re Michelin-recognized — the chicken is super fresh, crispy, and juicy every single bite. You can really taste that it’s made to order. I got the OG Mild Sando (my favourite), the Hot Honey Sando, and a few boneless bites. The Buffalo and Sweet Heat bites were amazing, and the Lemon Pepper was really flavourful too. Also love that they have $10 sando deals on Mondays and Tuesdays — so affordable for the quality you get. If you’re in Whitby, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Unsure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. The chicken didn't taste like chicken. It was all dark, super hard and disgusting. My boyfriends 16 year old kid took one bite and ended up not eating. The second photo is the ratio of chicken to batter...
I don't understand why this place has the reputation it does. Ordered the OG bites in "Hot AF" and "hot honey" seasonings. Hot AF: Do you know what either of those words mean? Not only was it not hot, there was no actual flavour besides the breading that has seemingly been fried multiple times. Why are people eating this at all? Hot honey: Literally the above item with some sugar syrup and pickled jalapenos on top. At least it gave it some flavour. Overall: Chica's seems to pay no attention to the seasoning on the chicken itself and relies on customers who like to dunk fried chicken into ranch sauce. This one's not for me. TLDR: Triple fried chicken w false advertising on the flavour descriptions. Hot AF is only accurate for those who find black pepper spicy. Chicken is juicy.
Its been on my list for a long time and in so happy i tried this place! It’s delicious, definitely worth trying! I think the waffle fries (not photographed) are alright, i don’t think I would get it again, but as for the sandwhich, highly suggest it! Cant wait to try the other sandos they have on the menu!
Service was perfect, the person was very informative and very patient with an indecisive person such as myself. We got the OG Sando with the hottest sauce with fries and sweet heat chicken bites, the chicken juicy and crunchy at the same time with actual flavour.
So I love chicas chicken.... But there Toronto location this location in Oshawa is barely edible I ordered a mild original OG and it was over cooked and there was so much heat on it that I gave up and through the rest out
