This place is a joke! Everything is overpriced and the customer service is garbage. He wanted to over charge me to blow up 1 helium balloon and when I told him that a few bigger stores were charging cheaper then he was, instead of saying sorry this is my price or be more politer about it. He abruptly said then go there!! Great customer service! That’s exactly how you should speak to your customer if you don’t want them coming back! LOL
It masquerades as a dollar store but is not at all dollar store pricing. A pair of winter gloves $16. A phone cable $10. These are just some examples of every day items that should be much cheaper, which they are at other “dollar store” brands. If saving money is your goal, this is not the place to go unfortunately. It’s very messy and poorly organized. Very friendly staff otherwise 1 star IMHO.
This store deserves -5 stars. Buyers Beware, Store owner has a policy of not doing any exchange or returns even when the purchased item is defective, broken, or a piece of junk & with the receipt. Everything is over-priced compared to Dollarama or Dollar Tree. I feel scammed by this store & will never, ever shop again. Don't waste your hard-earned money at this Dollar Power Whitby, spend your money elsewhere which provides better products at reasonable prices. Dollar Power Whitby should be put out of business. The owner should learn about providing customer care & satisfaction.
Best place to purchase balloons! Very helpful, beautiful bouquets, fair prices. Convenient, reliable and would not think to go anywhere else’s for my friends, families birthdays and small occasion celebrations.
The lady in the store was a bit annoying, and the store is kind of idk what to say at all but the lady was actually mean like we were trying to get something but she just kicked us out and she said ( go inside but what she actually means was go outside ) so were confused for a sec because she said go inside while pointing outside like broo!? and she said “ don’t go inside again” like she meant like we should not go back there again, first of all we are ur customer and u should not give ur customers that kind of attitude like u literally have 2 customers there theres a reason why u guys only have 2 costumers because ur customer service sucksss?.. And she was in a call with somebody and we were just talking and she just kicked us out overall the staff are so bad and the store.. Dollarama is probably better❤️❤️so I recommend don’t go to this store.. I hope u guys reply to this comment.!!
I strongly DON’T recommend anyone to visit this location, very rude and disrespectful staff! The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. And the prices are very high!
Rude and worst customer service: Refrain going to this store, unless you like to be treated bad, you could find every other product in other dollar store as well. The guy at the front with long beard has so much attitude, I have already reported to the concerned authorities and my other forums & community. Never witnessed such behaviour anywhere in Toronto.
