Every time I visit OverStock’D Home Essentials in Whitby, I am consistently impressed. It’s a goldmine for discounted home goods and liquidation finds. The owners are always very friendly , approachable, and truly ready to help. a fantastic shopping atmosphere that keeps me coming back.
This is a great store with great prices and even better service! I go at least once a week to check out all the new stock, and never leave empty handed:)
Was shopping in the store today at approximately 2:30. Was buying some clothing was getting charged full price. I pointed to all the signs all over the store that said clothing was 30% off. They claimed that the store had changed that pricing the previous day and they just didn’t take down any of the signs. They claim that they couldn’t take any of the signage down because it was taped to the window. I asked if they would honour the price they said no. I even went to as far as saying that it is illegal to advertise a price and not honour it. They said they didn’t care and call the police. I asked to talk to a manager the gentleman at the front of the store, laughed and said it’s a family run business and they didn’t care It will be my first and last time in that store.
