I was soooo happy with my experience at Couture Alterations. Meredith worked on alterations for my wedding dress and mother of the bride dress for my Mum, and both turned out absolutely perfect! She was quick, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Meredith was so helpful, kind, and made the whole process stress free. Her attention to detail is incredible and both dresses fit perfectly! I highly recommend Couture Alterations!
I cannot recommend Couture Alterations enough!! This place was recommended to me by Joy Bridal Boutique in Bowmanville where I purchased my dress. Meredith made me feel absolutely beautiful in my dress. I definitely at times felt unsure and overwhelmed with how I looked and felt in my dress. She eased my worries and was super easy to work with. She went as far as letting me borrow her stool for the day, as I felt most comfortable sitting in it. I highly recommend her and supporting small local businesses, such as couture alterations. My dress had snap clips to remove my dress sleeves, however there were holes in between the snaps that were noticeable, Meredith took the initiative and lightly sewed the sleeves on so the thread could be cut during the reception to then give me a second look for my dress. After she cleaned and nicely boxed my wedding dress, good as new :) Highly recommend!!
I had an amazing experience at Couture Alterations with my wedding dress. Everytime I went in to try it on, I had my yes dress moment over and over again, leaving me extra excited for the big day. Meredith was awesome and I felt very comfortable with her. She did amazing work on my dress and made sure everything was perfect! Thank you so much!
Meredith and her team are an absolute DREAM to work with! I had a massive ballgown for my ceremony and a little white dress for my reception, and Meredith went above and beyond to make sure I felt my absolute BEST in both. I was undecided about wearing a veil, and she took the time to let me try on a few of hers until I found the perfect style. She worked her magic on both dresses—so quickly and beautifully—and every appointment was filled with laughter and fun! The whole team is so kind, genuine, and makes you feel completely at ease. 10/10 recommend!!!!
As a Mother-of-the Groom, finding a seamstress that did quality work was extremely important. This is what I found going to Couture Alterations; not only did Meredith do impeccable work, they were a pleasure to deal with. It was an amazing stress-free experience! I would definitely recommend- 10/10 stars!!!
Lady working here had poor customer service. Would not come back again. Rude customer service, unfortunately. I thought I would go here due to the high ratings online. But the worker here tonight was extremely rude. Unsure why, I just asked if my dress could be hemmed.
Great place to go !! Meredith was fantastic , sweet , professional, honest && very reasonable with her pricing . Went to her to alter my wedding dress and it came back fitting like a glove. Wouldn’t go anywhere else .. highly recommend
